About Natasha
I admit it - I love etiquette!
It is my mission to help others create more successful relationships and accomplishments by using manners, poise, and communications.
I am a business-minded leader who just loves manners! Raised by a manners-driven mom and a old-fashioned dad, the etiquette skills I gleaned in my family life carried into my young adult experiences and my career. In my twenties, I competed for and won the title of Miss Iowa, proudly representing my state at the Miss America Scholarship Program. After traveling the state making dozens of appearances and meeting hundreds of people from every walk of life, I learned the importance of polish, poise, and knowing how to say just the right thing!
Through my experiences, I learned the value of etiquette in creating our best selves. Etiquette is never out-of-date, and solid communications skills are the frosting on the cake. In an age of text messaging, tweets, and Zoom calls, etiquette has changed, ad is actually more relevant than ever.
As a teen, I went to a six-week etiquette class that my dad signed me up for, and we all fondly referred to as “Charm School.” I realized in my thirties that having my own Charm School is my perfect fit. I went on to become a certified etiquette consultant so that I can put my knowledge and experience into action to help others. My business is Classically Modern Etiquette.

Education and Experience
I am a graduate of Davenport West High School and the University of Iowa, with a B.A. in journalism and English. My career began in public relations and grew into non-profit management, including public relations and marketing, fund development, volunteer management, and communications planning.
In 2015, I was certified as an etiquette consultant under the amazing Maria Everding and The Etiquette Institute. I am now an Etiquette Facilitator and Trainer. From youth to adults, brides to business leaders, my trainings are customized for all areas of life, including both personal and professional settings. Etiquette is so much more than which fork to use; acting with decorum and kindness builds relationships and improves our success in the workplace, in our social circles, and at home.
Contact me to personalize an etiquette training or an etiquette dinner for your organization, workplace, or family. Together, we can customize the best training sessions to meet your needs and take your personal skills to the next level. Classically Modern Etiquette is based in Iowa, but will provide etiquette classes across the Midwest, including Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. I will also travel to your location for personalized, inhouse training. For privacy and personalized coaching, I offer individual classes, as well as Zoom classes for individual or group classes. Contact me for details! I can’t wait to work with you or your team.
Our mission is to foster charm as a social skill all of us possess. Classically Modern Etiqutte recognizes that the base for all proper manners is a love for others.
We emphasize love and kindness in all we teach and all we embody.
“From the classroom, to the team, to the workplace, to our families, manners matter. Building trusting relationships through proper respect and behavior creates success in all we do.”
